When my girlfriend bought the D300S, I was proud of her for taking the big step. I hadn’t done much research on the S (aside from the fact that it was quite like its father, the D700, which I own), but when I realized it had video capabilities I was completely stoked. I was so envious, I immediately stole it from her on the first day she got it. Tested this with the all-time favorite 35mm f/2.0. Very impressed.
