Much of the weekend was spent trying to catch up to the guys of LomoBru and their event with Body Shop and charity. The reason I didn’t join them in the first place is much more complicated than what most people would think. A lot would say I’m just being brash and stuck-up, but the thing is that if I join a group, I’d be expected to do whatever updates regularly. And that just turns me off. I love to go at my own pace and once pressure is on my shoulders to take photos, they will never turn out well. It’s happened before and I don’t want it to happen again. Contributing is no problem though, and I have much respect for every member of the group.
In other photography related news, here’s someone I’ve been really admiring for the past couple of months now.

Wonderful, wonderful work. Viktor manages to do everything I want to with such simplicity and virtuosity. His manner of composition absolutely drives me to improve myself, from taking the tiniest moments of taking care of a baby to the grand scale of a rainstorm in the dark and often monotonous cities he brings to you. I bow my head to you, Viktor Gårdsäter. Truly magnificent.
